Nike Dunk Sky Hi Wedge Trainers in Dark Sea

I only ever wear trainers at the gym. I’m a heels girls, I need the height, but I love the casual, street look of trainers so these concealed wedge heel trainers are perfect.

I love that they are not black but are still a dark colour making them easier to style. They are super comfortable and will be great for more casual outfits. The colours and textures on these trainers are lovely, they’re made from beautiful leather and suede and are very high quality.

I picked these up from Office a few days before Xmas for £55 reduced from £85 however I’ve had a look on the website today and they are now only £40!

Shoe Lust #3 – Zara Court Shoe (Baby Pink)

Zara Baby Pink Court Shoe

Zara Court Shoe £25.99 by heelsforever

Baby pink is one of the biggest trends this Autumn/Winter. There are lots of beautiful baby pink coats everywhere however I find them slightly too girly on me and am not willing to pay so much for an item I won’t get much wear out of.

Instead, these gorgeous shoes from Zara are a more versatile alternative to keep in with the trend. They’re a beautiful classic shape with an elegant pencil heel and I am in love with the colour.

I think these shoes are great for the current season  and would look great with a pair of skinnies, cream blouse, statement necklace, and a trench.

What do you guys think? How would you style them? Or are you brave enough to go for the baby pink coats??

Shoe Lust #2 – Zara High Heel Shiny Shoe

Shoe Lust #2
I am in love with these beautiful peep-toe heels from Zara.
Peep-toes are my favourite style of shoe and I love this burgundy colour for Autumn/Winter.
As these heels have an ankle strap and aren’t too high they would be great to wear during the day as well as night. They are smart enough to wear in the office but would also look great with jeans and a t-shirt.
What do you guys think of these? How would you style them?

Shoe Lust #1 – & Other Stories Leather and Brass Pump

Although my blog is called Heels Forever, I realised that I have not actually done many blogposts about shoes so I have decided to do a new series on shoes I am lusting after.

Shoe Lust #1

I have been on the lookout for some nude heels for a while and these are perfect. I love the almond toe style and how they look like a plain court shoe from the front but then the turquoise heel with the brass plate adds more interest to the shoe from behind.
What do you guys think of these? What shoes are you currently lusting after?

New In: Zara, Topshop, Urban Outfitters

I have been spending way too much recently but there have been some amazing sales on and I have found some really good buys.

It all started with the Zara sale ( I have to confess, I stayed up til midnight waiting for the online sale to start!)  I picked up some pieces I really love, a few of which I had had my eye on for a while but was not willing to pay full price for. I think the sales are a great time to invest in more expensive pieces like this when you can’t justify paying so much for an item.

Here’s what I bought from Zara:

1) I am in love with this beautiful floral maxi dress! It’s nothing like my usual style, it is a lot more feminine and girly than anything else I own but I love everything about it……. the print, the style, the colours, the fit.  The dress has a beautiful sheer maxi skirt with a knee-length underskirt. The top part of the dress is also sheer so you would probably need to wear a bandeau underneath. This dress is perfect for the summer, for parties or weddings, or even just with sandals for casual days. It has a very pretty boho/ vintage style, can’t wait to wear it!

2) Again this printed Zara shirt is very different to my usual style. I usually wear more neutral colours so this is very bright in comparison. I love the print and colours of this shirt, it’s great to add a bit of colour to my wardrobe.

3) I had had my eye on these shoes for ages and they were the first thing I searched for when the Zara sale started. I have seen many designer shoes very similar to these (Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin) and think these are a great version of the high-heeled cut out sandals. I love these shoes, they will go with almost anything from dresses and skirts, to jeans and shorts. They look even better on than in the picture above and are great for adding a bit of an interest to a plain outfit.

4) These shorts are a more recent buy I picked up when I went into a Zara store. I was drawn to orangey-red colour, it is my favourite colour at the moment. Close up, the shorts also have a beautiful embroidered floral pattern and they fit perfectly. I have already worn these a lot over the past couple of weeks while we have had such amazing weather, hope it continues so I can wear them a lot more!

5) My final Zara buy is a full-price purchase I made more recently in store. I found these beautiful floral printed trousers in the kids section at Zara. I am a size 6/8 so can usually fit into kids sizes 13-14/ 14-15 and have to admit, have made a few purchases from Zara kids in the past. I love the print and material of these trousers, they are lovely and soft. Think I will get a lot of wear out of these, they are great for summer and I will also be able to wear them into Autumn, as it gets cooler, as they are made out of quite a thick material.

I also picked up a couple of items from the sales in other shops:

6) I saw these black Topshop Leigh jeans in my size and had to buy them immediately. I already own some Leigh jeans in another colour and love the fit and material they are made from, (they are so soft and comfy!), so had to get these black ones as they were only £15.

7) I also found this beautiful orange aztec print bandeau bikini in Urban Outfitters. Again this is very different to other bikinis I own, it is very, very bright but I absolutely love it!

What do you guys think of my sales buys? What did you guys pick up in the sales?

Ultimate Summer Flats – Topshop Haiti Shoes

Although I love heels and wear them almost every day, I needed some flat summer shoes for days when I was going to be doing a lot of walking and heels were just not practical.

haiti 2

I bought these beautiful Topshop Haiti Peep Toe Cut Out Shoes last week.

They are the perfect summer shoe. They have a beautiful peep-toe cut out design (peep toes are my favourite style of shoe) and can be worn with so many different outfits from jeans and leggings to summer dresses.

They also fit really well and are made from the softest leather. They look mis-shapen until you put them on and they sort of mould to the shape of your feet.

I bought them in tan but they were also available in a few other colours. They are £35.00 which might seem a lot for a pair of flats but I really love the style and they seem to be well made and so should hopefully last a long time.

I can definitely see myself wearing these all summer and am even considering buying another pair for when these eventually do wear down just incase they’re not available anymore!

What do you guys think of these? What are your ultimate summer flats?

My All Time Favourite Shoes

KG WHITE SHOESKG SHOES 2

I have been trying to edit my shoe collection and invest in shoes I really love that will last for years. I don’t own any Christian Louboutins or Jimmy Choos just yet, (hopefully I will one day!) but these KG by Kurt Geiger white peep-toe heels are my favourite pair of shoes I own….so far!

I ordered these online and thought they would be a creamy/nude colour, but they were actually white when I received them. I’ve never been a fan of white shoes and always thought they looked a bit harsh but I love these and think they are actually quite subtle. Peep-toes are one of my favourite styles of shoes, I think they look very classic and elegant.

These shoes go with almost anything for a variety of different looks. I have worn them with jeans and a plain top in more  neutral colours to smarten a casual look as well as with brightly coloured dresses on nights out or with a leather jacket and shorts for a more edgy look.

I’ve had a look on the Kurt Geiger website and these don’t seem to be available anymore but there should be similar shoes available as they are such a basic, classic style of shoe. What do you think of these? What are your favourite pair of shoes?
